GMA Network has unveiled the "One epic ride" featurette for the upcoming Voltes V: Legacy series. The featurette gives us our first look at the cast in costume, as well as shots of the Camp Big Falcon crew, and the incoming Boazanian Empire forces.

Based on Choudenji Machine Voltes V, the original anime series follows five youths who fight the evil Boazanian Empire and its horde of "beast fighters". The series has been a staple on Philippine TV and Philippine pop culture since the show debuted in the 1978. Voltes V has at least a couple of reruns every few years, the most recent being the one that aired on July 2018, with an all new Filipino dub cast.

- Miguel Tanfelix as Kenichi Go/Steve Armstrong, Volt Cruiser's pilot and the team leader
- Radson Flores as Ippei Mine/Mark Gordon, Volt Bomber's pilot and a rodeo champion
- Matt Lozano as Daijiro Go/Robert "Big Bert" Armstrong, Volt Panzer's pilot and the second oldest Go/Armstrong brother
- Rafael Landicho as Hiyoshi Go/"Little John" Armstrong, Volt Frigate's pilot and the youngest Go/Armstrong brother
- Ysabel Ortega as Megumi Oka/Jamie Robinson, Volt Lander's pilot and a female ninja
In addition to this new featurette, it was also reported by the 24 Oras evening newscast that the series also received a letter of recommendation from Toei Company, Ltd., the owners of the Voltes V series, which is signed by long time Toei producer Shinichiro Shirakura (Heisei Kamen Rider Series, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger).
In the letter, Shirakura stated that they are excited to see the latest promo reel for the series, and they feel the respect they have for the original series and even thanked their effort, enthusiasm, and hard work during the pandemic. Aside from this letter, series director Mark Reyes revealed that they are 50% to 60% done with the show's production.
Directed by Mark A. Reyes (Encantadia, Resiklo) who was involved in the project for over five years now, and scripts written by Suzette Doctolero (Encantadia), the series is set to premiere soon only on GMA. Everything related to this production, which includes the new fictional Boazanian language, are all approved by Toei Company, Ltd. and Telesuccess Productions Inc.
