The official GMA Network YouTube channel posted the second teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action Voltes V series, Voltes V: Legacy.
The upcoming series is a dream project of Director Mark Reyes (Encantadia, Resiklo), who is involved in the project for five years now. The series is part of the TV network's 70th anniversary celebrations. Other details such as the casting and the actual release date are yet to be announced.

Based on Choudenji Machine Voltes V, the original anime series follows five youths who fight the evil Boazanian Empire and its horde of "beast fighters". The series has been a staple on Philippine TV and Philippine pop culture since the show debuted in the 1978. Voltes V has at least a couple of reruns every few years, the most recent being the one that aired on July 2018, with an all new Filipino dub cast.
