The official Urusei Yatsura anime website posted the fifth promo for the anime's upcoming second half, which features the new opening and ending themes for the anime.
The new opening theme is titled "Lock On feat. HashiMelo, Megurimeguru" by MAISONdes, while the new ending theme is titled "Raizakura feat. 9Lana, SAKURAmoti", which is also by MAISONdes.
As previously reported, the anime adapts select stories from the 34-volume manga series. This second half will also likely be adapting the manga's final story, which was previously adapted into a movie titled "Urusei Yatsura: Final Chapter".
Based on the manga of the same name, the series follows Ataru Moroboshi who was chosen to play a game of tag with an alien princess named Lum who invades the Earth on her UFO. Ataru has ten days to touch Lum's horns or aliens will take over the Earth! As it turns out, this game is just the beginning of his troubles as he continues to attract strange encounters with otherworldly beings!
