It was revealed in a livestream presentation for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime franchise new details for the show's upcoming Swordsmith Village Arc anime, which includes new teaser trailers and its new opening theme.
The new opening theme is titled "Kizuna no Kiseki" (translates as Bonds of Miracle) by MAN WITH A MISSION x milet. In addition, more cast members for the series are also revealed, namely:
- Ryotaro Okiayu (Bleach, Slam Dunk) as Kokushibo (upper rank 1)
- Mamoru Miyano (Ultraman Zero, Death Note) as Doma (upper rank 2)
- Toshio Furukawa (Dragon Ball, Urusei Yatsura) as Hantengu (upper rank 4)
- Kousuke Toriumi (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) as Gyokko (upper rank 5)
The primary staff of the series, namely: series director Haruo Sotozaki, character designer Akira Matsushima, and anime studio ufotable will return to work on the series. Lastly, the cast from the previous two seasons will return to reprise their roles, and that includes Kengo Kawanishi as Muichiro Tokito and Kana Hanazawa as Mitsuri Kanroji.
As the name of the season suggest, it will adapt the manga's Swordsmith Village Arc, which covers chapters 98-127 of the manga. In the arc, Tanjiro travels to the Swordsmith Village to replace his sword because Hotaru Haganezuka is tired of repairing it. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Swordsmith Village Arc anime is set to premiere this April.
