Voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto announced on her official website that she and her husband, fellow voice actor Kenichi Suzumura are expecting to have their first child next year.
Sakamoto revealed that the reason why she has been taking a break from work over the past few months is because of this. She plans to gradually return to work as her body condition improves.
The couple have been married since 2011, and are co-stars in a lot of anime and games, most notably: Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (as Zack Fair and Aerith Gainsborough), Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny (as Shinn Asuka and Lunamaria Hawke), Fate/Grand Order (as Romani Archaman and Leonardo Da Vinci), and many more.
