It was reported that voice actor Kouji Tsujitani last October 17th due to a stroke. He was 56.
Tsujitani's wife and voice actress Kumiko Watanabe and other close relatives attended his wake last October 21st, his funeral happened the following day, October 22nd.
To most anime fans, he is best known for his work in the Gundam franchise, most notably as Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket's Bernard "Bernie" Wiseman and Mobile Suit Gundam F91's Seabook Arno. Outside of Gundam, he is best known to most fans as Inuyasha's Miroku, Yu Yu Hakusho's Annote Itsuki, Slam Dunk's Kenji Fujima, Eureka Seven's Dewey Novak, Otaku no Video's Ken Kubo, Hajime no Ippo's Ryuichi Hayami, Blood +'s Solomon Goldsmith, Irresponsible Captain Tylor's Tylor, and 3x3 Eyes' Yakumo Fujii.
Outside of anime, he also did some dubbing work, most notably as Adam Park/Black Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie, Agent Johnson in The Matrix: Reloaded and the official voice of Toy Story's Woody in various Japanese media. Lastly, he also worked in anime as a sound director and worked on shows such as: Fate/stay night, Freezing, and Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju.
