Tsuburaya has unveiled the official teaser trailer as well as new details for the upcoming Ultraman Regulos spin-off series.
First making his debut in Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad, this spin-off series will reveal his origins. At the start of the series, he ends up on the Planet D60, close-to-death. His only memory is his name, Regulos. He is scouted by Master Alude who takes him into the Cosmo Beast Style martial art, and trains alongside his fellow disciples.
It was also revealed that Shugo Nakamura, who is Ultraman Regulos' Japanese voice actor will perform the series' theme song, "fist of hope", which he also wrote and composed. Lastly, we finally meet the Cosmo Beast Fighters, who are integral to the series. We already met some of them in The Destined Crossroad.
These martial artists make a contract with Cosmo Beast spirits, and fight with the Cosmo Beast Style, which is rumored to be the strongest martial art in the universe. Some of these practitioners are:
The team behind the previous three Ultra Galaxy Fight series namely, director Koichi Sakamoto (Ultraman Geed, Kamen Rider Fourze) and writer Junichiro Ashiki (Ultra Zero Fight) returns to work on this spin-off series. Ultraman Regulos is set to premiere soon on Tsuburaya Imagination in Japan, and in Ultraman Connection worldwide.
- Master Alude - The strongest practitioner and the Grand Master of the Cosmo Beast Style. He is the master of the ultimate Juggernaut Charging Buffalo Fist.
- Instructor Phoros - An instructor of the Cosmo Beast Style, he is extremely serious and respects the Cosmos Beast Style more than anyone. A Master of the Lightning White Tiger Fist, he wields the power of thunder, and strikes with a sharp blow of lightning.
- Tubahn - A Master of the Flaming Red Dragon Fist, he wields the power of fire. He is adept at accurately striking an opponent's weak spot, and is a free-spirited fighter who dislikes conforming to rules and conventions.
- Spica - She is a Cosmo Beast Fighter who cares a lot about Regulos. A Master of the Rapid Frozen Panther Fist, she wields the power of frost. She throws freezing strikes faster than the eye can see.
- Albeo - He is a Cosmo Beast Fighter, and a senior disciple to Regulos. A Master of the Leaping Spirit Crane Fist, he wields the power of wind. He can move gracefully in the air and slice his opponents.
- Pharood - He is a Cosmo Beast Fighter, and another senior disciple to Regulos. A master of Phantom Water Snake Fist, he wields the power of water. He strikes water currents into opponents with grace.
