Mill Creek announced on Ultraman Day that one of their next Ultraman release is with Ultraman R/B!
Ultraman R/B is the 30th overall entry of the Ultraman franchise and the last Heisei Ultraman series. The series ran for 25 episodes and features the themes of "bond" and "love" and follows two brothers, the older brother Katsumi and the younger brother Isami. When the brothers encounter a monster and almost lost their lives in the mountain, and with the power of the R/B Gyro and R/B Crystals, the two transform into Ultraman Rosso and Ultraman Blu!
In addition of the TV series, the Blu-ray set also includes the movie, Ultraman R/B the Movie: Select! The Crystal of Bond, which features Asahi, Katsumi and Isami's sister transforming into Ultrawoman Grigio, and Ultraman Tregear, who later became the primary antagonist in the series after R/B, Ultraman Taiga. The Blu-ray set cost US$49.99 and is set for an October 13th release.
