Premium Bandai posted the official images of the Ultra Replica Flash Prism from the Ultraman Powered TV series.
Also known as the Beta Capsule in the original English audio, this item is used by Kenichi Kai to transform into Ultraman Powered! The item is 1/1 scale in size, which is smaller compared to the original DX toy as the toy needed to incorporate the electronics at the time. But thanks to the latest in design technology, they were able to fit all the gimmicks of the item, while maintaining the accurate prop size, and beautiful streamlined form.
The voice button of this item is located at the back of the crystal, thus allowing you to replicate the transformation closer to the one seen in the show. To transform, the user clenches his fist while holding the Flash Prism, thus pressing the button inside the crystal. In addition, the LEDs that are located in three places, namely the left and right ends, and the middle crystal will light up according to the sound.
After the transformation, the item switches to its "Powered Post-Transformation State", in which in this mode, other sound effects such as the his finisher, the Mega Spacium Beam and the Color Timer sounds by pressing said button. Another mode that this item has the "Sound Battler Mode" in which you can recreate some of Ultraman Powered's fights against various monsters. This mode plays Powered's various grunts and special move sounds, as well as the cries of 17 different monsters that Powered encountered.
Lastly, the item comes with its own dedicated pedestal. This Premium Bandai web exclusive item cost 9,900 yen and is set for an August release. Pre-orders for the item will end on May 5th.
