Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter Film Poster, Additional Cast Members & More Revealed

The official Rurouni Kenshin film has unveiled new details about the Final Chapter films, revealing the film's poster, more cast members, and theme song performers. 

It is confirmed that actors Yusuke Iseya (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I, Shinjuku Swan) and Tao Tsuchiya (Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial, The 8-Year Engagement) will reprise their roles as Aoshi Shinomori and Misao Makimachi respectively. In addition, just like the first three films, ONE OK ROCK will perform the theme song of the films. 

The first film titled "Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter - The Final" will focus on the manga's Jinchu Arc, in which Kenshin will have a conflict against a mysterious weapons dealer named Enishi. The second film titled "Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter - The Beginning", will reveal the origins of Kenshin's cross-shaped scar.

Actor Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O) will reprise his role as Kenshin Himura in the two films. Also returning to the final films are: Emi Takei (Liar Game 2) as Kaoru Kamiya, Munetaka Aoki (Ryomaden) as Sanosuke Sagara, Yu Aoi (Honey and Clover) as Megumi Takani, and Yosuke Eguchi (The Confidence Man JP, Bleach) as Hajime Saito. Joining them are Riku Onishi as Yahiko Myojin, who replaces Kaito Oyagi in the role, Mackenyu Arata (Chihayafuru Film Trilogy, Kamen Rider Drive: Suprise Future) as Enishi Yukishiro, and Kasumi Arimura as Tomoe Yukishiro.

Both directed by Keishi Otomo, Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter - The Final is set for a July 3, 2020 release, while Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter - The Beginning is set for an August 7, 2020 release.
