It was announced at this year's Game Awards that Joker from the Persona 5 game will join the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game roster as a downloadable character!
Joker is the first character announced to be confirmed DLC for the game. The character will be included in the game's Challenger Pack 1. Each DLC pack contains one new character, one new stage, and new music tracks. Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai previously revealed on a tweet that all the DLC characters for the game were decided by Nintendo and that he has the final decision if they can turn the characters chosen by Nintendo into a playable fighter.
First of the five previously announced DLC packs, details for the other four DLC packs are yet to be announced. Each DLC pack cost US$5.99 and you can purchase all DLC as part of Super Smash Bros.' Fighters Pass, which cost US $24.99. All packs will be released individually until February 2020.
