Gundam.Info posted the fourth official trailer for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM anime film. The trailer features the film's theme song, "Freedom" by Takanori Nishikawa with producer t.komuro.
Nishikawa, under the name T.M. Revolution previously performed various theme songs for the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED anime and its spin-offs, while Komuro is a member of TM Network, the band that performed the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack film's ending theme song.
The film will feature a brand new story that takes place two years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY, in the year C.E. 75.

Along the way, the Destiny Plan was proposed, which would forcibly assign a role to each individual and create a world free of competition. But amid the fighting, this Destiny Plan was rejected in order to protect humanity's aspirations and future freedom.
The film will be once again animated by Sunrise, under their current name, Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. Staff members from the previous two Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series will return to work on the film sequel, most notably: director Mitsuo Fukuda, writers Chiaki Morosawa, Ryu Goto, Mitsuo Fukuda; character designer Hisashi Hirai, and music composer Toshihiko Sahashi.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM is set to premiere this January 26, 2024 in Japan.
