The official Megalobox anime website posted a new trailer for the show's second season titled Megalobox 2: Nomad. The new trailer revealed the season's premiere date as well as the new characters Joe, now going under the name Nomad will meet.
Taking place seven years after the events of the first season, "Gearless" Joe is once again fighting in underground matches, now going under the name Nomad. Adorned with scars and once again donning his gear, what happened to the champion of the first Megalobox tournament?
The primary cast and staff from the first season returns to work on the second season, namely: director You Moriyama, head writers Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima, and composer mabanua. In addition, Ayumi Kurashima (Devilman crybaby) will now serve as the show's character designer, and Naomi Kaneda (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) as its new sub-character designer.
Megalobox 2: Nomad is set tp premiere this April 4th.
