Nintendo announced at today's Nintendo Direct that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will get new paid DLC content called Booster Course Pass.
In this new DLC pass, fans will experience 48 remastered courses from throughout the Mario Kart series, which will be released in six waves until the end of 2023. The first wave, which includes nostalgic faves such as Wii's Coconut Mall and N64's Choco Mountain, and even Mario Kart Tour's Tokyo Blur will be released on March 18th.
These stages are available for both online and of course, local play. The set cost US$24.99 on its own and can be purchased via the Nintendo eShop, but if you have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, you will have access to all of these newly-added courses as they are released at no additional cost.
