It was reported that a 44-year-old man was arrested for posting death threats to actor Shigeki Hosokawa's official blog. Hosokawa is best known to most fans as Kamen Rider Hibiki.
The man was Taiki Okada, a jobless man from Nishinomiya in Hyogo prefecture. According to the investigators, he was suspected of posting death threats on Shigeki Hosokawa's blog back in March, which warned him of murdering him. The threat states, "I have to cut your body into pieces."
At the end of March, Hosokawa's lawyer consulted with the police and filed a police report in May. The suspect acknowledged the charges and commented, "I wrote the comment to scare the actor, I wanted to get noticed." The police are now looking into the possibility that he has repeated said offense in the past.
