It was announced that Alifred Yamamoto's Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita/RikeKoi (translates as Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) will get a live-action film, which continues the events of the TV series.
The upcoming project will star Nana Asakawa (Saki Achiga-hen episode of Side-A) as Ayame Himuro and Shun Nishime (Kamen Rider Ghost) as Shinya Yukimura. Other cast members include: Yuuka Yano (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger), Tom Fujita (Kamen Rider Amazons), and Karin Ogino (Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger).
In the film, Ayame finally confesses to Shinya, but says that she must show him scientific proof of her love, or he won't say it back and will disqualify her confession with science. The rest of the labmates get wrapped up in Ayame's experiments to prove her love.
The RikeKoi TV series premiered last September 1st and ran for four episodes, while the film will premiere on February 1, 2019.
