TV Tokyo announced that Afro's Laid-Back Camp (Yurucamp Δ) manga series will get a live-action series adaptation.
The original manga follows two young women who love taking camping trips, eat cup ramen together, and enjoy the scenery. The adaptation will star Haruka Fukuhara (Good Morning Call, Ressha Sentai ToQGer the Movie) as Rin Shima, Yuno Ohara (Mr. Hiiragi's Homeroom) as Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Momoko Tanabe (Sunny: Our Hearts Beat Together) as Chiaki Ogaki, Yumena Yanai (Black School Rules) as Aoi Inuyama, and Sara Shida (We Are Rockets!) as Ena Saito.
The series will feature scripts written by Ayako Kitagawa (Prison School) and will be directed by Takashi Ninomiya (Mischievous Kiss 2: Love in Tokyo), Mamoru Koshino, and Kyouhei Tamazawa (Koe Girl!). The series is set to premiere on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi on January 10, 2020 at 1am in the half-hour "Moku-Dra" timeslot, on BS TV Tokyo on January 14, 2020, and on Amazon Prime Video on Janaury 10, 2020.
