Kadokawa posted the trailer of the live-action film based on Carib Marley and Takashi Imashiro's Hard-Core: Heisei Hell Brothers manga.
The original manga follows Ukon, a man who doesn't fit in with society and decides to dig for gold. He is joined by Ushiyama, a nice young man and the only person he trusts, and his younger brother Sakon, an employee at an elite trading company. These three have uncovered an old robot.
The upcoming film is produced and starred by Takayuki Yamada (Crows Zero, Hero Yoshihiko) as Ukon. Also part of the film's cast are: Yoshiyoshi Arakawa (Amachan) as Ushiyama and Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, Rurouni Kenshin) as Sakon. Directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita (La La La at Rock Bottom), the film is set for a November 23 release in Japan.
