Premium Bandai posted the official images of the B-Commander COMPLETE EDITION from the Juukou B-Fighter TV series.
The B-Commander is the transformation and communication device of the B-Fighters, namely: Blue Beet, G-Stag, and Reddle. Released 27 years after Juukou B-Fighter first made its debut back in February 1995, this complete version of the original DX toy is a huge step up from said toy. From the painting of the item to give it a more "Juukou" look, the mini hero figure looking like the prop seen in the TV series, and even the board design that shows up once the wings unfold was replaced from a sticker to a more tactile structure.
In addition, to transform, you need to swap the horns and attach the mini figure specific to the B-Fighter you want to transform into. Each horn and figure gives its own unique transformation sound and lights, reproducing the one seen in the series. Speaking of the mini figure, a clear version of the Blue Beet, G-Stag, and Reddle mini figures are also available to better recreate said transformation sequence.
The item also has a BGM button that plays various songs from the TV series such as the show's theme song, "Juukou B-Fighter". Pressing and holding the BGM button will activate the Beet Machine Start Mode and you will hear lines coming from Dr. Kenzo Mukai (role reprised by Takashi Sasano) while the song, "Shutsugeki! Beet Machine" plays. It also has a Communication Mode that allows you to communicate with Takuya Kai/Blue Beet role reprised by Daisuke Tsuchiya) and Daisaku Katagiri/G-Stag (role reprised by Shigeru Kanai) if no operation is performed for a certain period of time. Said lines are newly recorded for this item.
If you play with the transforms in a row, it will activate its Repair Mode, in which the B-Commander will go into self repair. Lastly, the item comes with its own dedicated display pedestal. This Premium Bandai web exclusive item cost 13,200 yen and is set for a June release.
