Bandai Tamashii Nations posted the official images of the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (1989) from the Godzilla vs. Biollante film.
As the name of the figure suggest, this figure is based on Godzilla's appearance from the Godzilla vs. Biollante film. The item stands 160mm tall and is based on the suit used in the film, and was made and colored by Yuji Sakai, the leading Godzilla modeler in Japan.
Mitsuhiko Hosokawa on the other hand, who previously worked on past S.H. MonsterArts figures and the Ultra Monsters for the S.H. Figuarts Ultraman line devised and produced the moving mechanism for this figure, allowing the figure to move around without breaking its proportion. A perfect opponent for the S.H. MonsterArts Biollante (sold separately), the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (1989) cost 9,350 yen and is set for an August release.
