After it was teased earlier this year, Bandai Namco Entertainment has officially announced the Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO game at this year's The Game Awards.
Also known as Budokai Tenkaichi series outside of Japan, this is the first time an English language release of the game will use the original name of the franchise. The fifth overall entry of the franchise, players will learn and master an incredible roster of playable characters, each with signature abilities, transformations, and techniques in this 3D arena fighting game. Take the fight to arenas that crumble and react to your power as the battle rages on.
The confirmed playable characters thus far are: Son Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Broly, Piccolo, Krillin, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Trunks, Android 17, Android 18, Cell, Mr. Satan, Majin Buu, Bergamo, and Jiren. The trailer highlights Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue transformations as well as Broly's transformations as seen in Dragon Ball Super: Broly.
