Actor Yusuke Iseya (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable) was recently arrested due to marijuana possession.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police found four bags of marijuana in a drawer in his Tokyo residence last Tuesday, September 8th. Rolling papers were also discovered on a table. As to how he obtained said drug are currently under investigation.
His talent agency, Kakuto Entertainment issued a statement confirming the arrest and apologized to said incident. Due to his arrest, his official YouTube channel was taken down. The actor will reprise his role as Aoshi Shinomori in the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter films, which was postponed to spring 2021 due to COVID-19. Due to how Japan takes these drug charges seriously, it is unknown if his character will be edited out in the final product.
