The official Pokémon the Movie website has unveiled new trailers and the title for the 21st Pokémon film. Titled Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story, the film will feature the Legendary Pokémon, Lugia.
The upcoming film takes place during the annual Wind Festival at Frau City, which is blessed with the wind from the Legendary Pokémon Lugia. The film will feature the tagline, "Even what I can't do alone, as long as I'm with you..."
The trailers also unveiled new characters, and they are: Risa, a Pokémon newbie; Kagachi, a man with a tendency to boast; Torito, a timid researcher; Hisui, a strange old lady; and Rarugo, a mysterious girl. In addition, aside from Ash and his Pikachu, it is also confirmed that Team Rocket will also make an appearance in the movie.
The upcoming film will be a collaboration between OLM (Pokémon Anime Series) and WIT Studio (Attack on Titan) and is directed by Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! director Kunihiko Yuyuma along with assistant director Tetsuo Yajima, and scripts written by Eiji Umehara (Grimoire of Zero) & Aya Takaha. Lastly, the film will feature character designs by Shizue Kaneko (If Her Flag Breaks, Pan de Peace!).
Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story is set for a July 13th release in Japan.
