The official Koe Girl! website announced that voice actress Haruka Tomatsu will make an appearance in said live-action PreCure spin-off as herself.
For most fans, she is best known as Sword Art Online's Asuna and is currently plays DARLING in the FRANXX's Zero Two. But for PreCure fans, she's best known as HappinessCharge PreCure!'s Iona Hikawa/Cure Fortune and for Super Sentai fans as Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger's Canderrilla.
In the show, she'll be watching over the main characters, who are all aspiring voice actresses. In addition, as revealed in Tomatsu's blog, the characters of the show will have a scene in which they visited her concert. The scene will use footage from her "LAWSON premium event Tomatsu Haruka 360°SPECIAL LIVE at Maihama Ampitheater" event and will feature her singing the My Little Monster anime's opening theme, "Q&A Recital!"
The upcoming series celebrates the 15th anniversary of the said franchise, and is not connected to the world or story of the series. The series stars Haruka Fukuhara (Ressha Sentai ToQGer the Movie, Good Morning Call) as Kotomi Kikuchi, a grocer's only daughter who has no knowledge or experience in voice acting. Fukuhara previously played Himari Arisugawa/Cure Custard in the Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode anime.
