Tsuburya has revealed more details as well as released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad web series.
For starters, seen above is the web series' official poster, which features the tagline, "The Ultimate vs. The Absolute". The top corner features the Absolutians, namely: Absolute Tartarus, Absolute Diavolo, and Absolute Titan, alongside Ultraman Belial, Ultraman Tregear, and Gina Spectre. The bottom corner on the other hand, features Ultraman Regulos, Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Reiga, Ultraman Z, Ultraman Ribut, Ultraman Leo, and Astra.
In addition, the opening theme for the series is also revealed. Titled "Now or Never!", the song is performed by Konomi Suzuki in both Japanese and English. The two trailers feature the two versions of the song.
Continuing the cliffhanger at the end of Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Absolute Conspiracy, the Ultras gather to save the kidnapped Yulian. It's Ultra Heroes vs. Absolutian, the destined battle will reshape the entire galaxy! The series will also feature the debut of Ultraman Regulos, a mysterious Ultra from the Planet D60 of the Draco Constellation, and wears a crest that proves that he is a master of the Cosmo Beast Fist. Is he a friend or a foe?
More cast members for the series was also announced, and as the trailer revealed, we will see the return of the Ultra Force, who were first seen in Ultraman: The Adventure Begins (also known as Ultraman USA). Toru Furuya (Mobile Suit Gundam) returns to reprise his role as Ultraman Scott, a role he played 33 years ago. Joining him are: Masaki Terasoma (Kamen Rider Den-O, Fate/stay night) as Ultraman Chuck (originally played by Shinji Ogawa) and Asami Seto (The Rising of the Shield Hero) as Ultrawoman Beth (originally played by Hiromi Tsuru).
In addition, Hiroshi Miyasaka, who played Ginga Yumeboshi/Ultraman Nice will reprise said role in the series. Finally, the voice actors who will play the Ultra Brothers are also revealed. Surprisingly, none of their previous live-action actors reprised their roles. They are:
The team behind the previous two Ultra Galaxy Fight series namely, director Koichi Sakamoto (Ultraman Geed, Kamen Rider Fourze) and writer Junichiro Ashiki (Ultra Zero Fight) returns to work on the third entry of this series. Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad is set to premiere on Tsuburaya Imagination first in Japan on April 29th, and on Ultraman Connection worldwide, dubbed in English via online rental on May 28th. Lastly, plans for its worldwide Japanese with English subs release via the official Ultraman YouTube channel are yet to be announced.
- Takahiro Sakurai (Final Fantasy VII) as Ultraman, making this the first time he will play the character in the Ultra Galaxy Fight series. Sakurai previously played the character in other Ultraman-related media.
- Shunsuke Takeuchi (Fate/Grand Order), reprising his role as Zoffy
- Hiroki Touchi (Resident Evil) as Ultraseven
- Shin-ichiro Miki (Pokémon, Kamen Rider Den-O) as Ultraman Jack
- Tomokazu Seki (Fate/stay night) as Ultraman Ace, making this the first time since Ultraman Mebius Gaiden: Ghost Rebirth that Ace had a different speaking voice. Seki is no stranger to the Ultraman franchise as he previously played Glenfire and Ultraman Great.
- Showtaro Morikubo (Naruto), reprising his role as Ultraman Taro
- Yoshimasa Hosoya (My Hero Academia) as Ultraman Leo
