Much to the surprise of most fans, Toei didn't announced an Uchu Sentai Kyuranger vs. Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger film last year, causing fans to wonder if Kyuranger will have its own Super Sentai Versus movie.
Take these rumors with a grain of salt.
Rumors coming from 2ch state that Uchu Sentai Kyuranger's upcoming Super Sentai Versus film is titled "Uchu Sentai Kyuranger vs. Space Squad". It is said that the film will occupy the slot reserved for a direct-to-video Super Sentai Returns film, which is usually released in June.
As the title suggest, the Kyurangers will team-up with the Space Squad, a team led by the current Gavan, Geki Jumonji and is composed of space-themed or based Super Sentai teams and Metal Heroes whose goal is to defeat Genmakuu once and for all. The Kyurangers sort of had a run-in with some members of the Space Squad, namely the Dekarangers and Gavan as seen in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger's 18th episode.
As the titles suggest, it is unlikely that the Kyurangers will team-up with the Zyuohgers for this Super Sentai Versus film.
