The official Sailor Moon YouTube channel posted the creditless opening sequence of the Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie Part 2.
The opening sequence features the song, "Sailor Star Song", the opening theme of the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars anime. This version of the song is performed by Sailor Kakyuu (voiced by Nana Mizuki) and the Sailor Starlights (voiced by Marina Inoue, Saori Hayami, and Ayane Sakura).
As previously reported, the film adapts the manga's Shadow Galactica Arc, which is the final arc of the series, and is split into parts with part one premiering last June 9th, and part two on June 30th.
The films are animated by Toei Animation and is directed by Tomoya Takahashi (Gatchaman Crowds) and written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Land of the Lustrous). Kazuko Tadano, who was the character designer of the orignal Sailor Moon anime returns to work on the films, and Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto Shippuden) returns to compose the music. Lastly, Yumiko Soraga are the films' art director.
