GLAAD announced their nominees of their annual GLAAD Media Awards. Now on its 33rd year, the awards honor media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues, and one of this year's nominees is Power Rangers Dino Fury!

Power Rangers Dino Fury is notable for featuring the very first LGBTQ+ Power Ranger that appeared on TV with Isabella "Izzy" Garcia/Dino Fury Green as it was revealed in the show's 13th episode, "The Matchmaker" that she is currently dating her then rival Fern. Fern was first introduced in the show's 5th episode titled "Winning Attitude". The nomination is also a first in the franchise.
