Live-Action Tomodachi Game Drama Teaser Trailers Revealed

The official live-action Tomodachi Game website posted the teaser trailers of the said upcoming drama series. Both teaser trailers features the film's theme song "Mr. Fake" by Amatsu. 

​The project based on Yuki Sato's manga and Mikoto Yamaguchi's original concept of the same name, the project stars Ryo Yoshizawa (Kamen Rider Fourze, Gintama) as Yuichi Katagiri, a young man with a perfect student life who has four friends with difficult lives.

Also part of the film's cast are: Rio Uchida (Kamen Rider Drive) as Shiho Sawaragi, the story's heroine, Yuki Yamada (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) as Tenji Mikasa, a top student with great communication skills, Shimon Okura (live-action Itazura na Kiss) as Makoto Shibe, the class president whose father is a city councilor, and Nagi Nemoto as Yurori Kokorogi, a quiet and gentle anime fan.

This perfect life comes to an end when 2 million yen in school trip fees goes missing. Riddles unfold as Yuichi gets caught up in a mysterious game for money and must decide whether friendship or money matters more. ​

Additional cast members also include: Yuki Kubota (Kamen Rider Gaim) joins the cast as Ren Tojo, an original character for the film who manages the Tomodachi Game. Amatsu as the voice of Manabu-kun, a mysterious puppet who serves as the Tomodachi Game's guide, and Yuki Ueno (live-action Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu!) as Maria Mizuse, an observer in the Tomodachi Game. 

Tomodachi Game is set to premiere on Chiba TV this April 3rd at 10:30pm, and will also air on Teletama, Hokkaido TV, tvk, KBC Kyushu Asahi Broadcasting, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and Mētele. The series will also stream on GYAO! starting on April 12. Aside from this drama, two films are also set to premiere this year.
