Yuki Kubota Joins Live-Action Tomodachi Game Project Cast

The official live-action Tomodachi Game project website announced more cast members and the project's opening and ending themes. 

It was announced that Yuki Kubota (Kamen Rider Gaim) joins the cast as Ren Tojo, an original character for the film who manages the Tomodachi Game. 

Amatsu as the voice of Manabu-kun, a mysterious puppet who serves as the Tomodachi Game's guide. Amatsu will also perform the series' theme song "Mr. Fake". Lastly, Yuki Ueno (live-action Shiratori Reiko de Gozaimasu!) will play Maria Mizuse, an observer in the Tomodachi Game. Ueno will also perform the series' ending theme "Tomodachi Gokko". 

The project based on Yuki Sato's manga and Mikoto Yamaguchi's original concept of the same name, the project stars Ryo Yoshizawa (Kamen Rider Fourze, Gintama) as Yuichi Katagiri, a young man with a perfect student life who has four friends with difficult lives.

Also part of the film's cast are: Rio Uchida (Kamen Rider Drive) as Shiho Sawaragi, the story's heroine, Yuki Yamada (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) as Tenji Mikasa, a top student with great communication skills, Shimon Okura (live-action Itazura na Kiss) as Makoto Shibe, the class president whose father is a city councilor, and Nagi Nemoto as Yurori Kokorogi, a quiet and gentle anime fan.

This perfect life comes to an end when 2 million yen in school trip fees goes missing. Riddles unfold as Yuichi gets caught up in a mysterious game for money and must decide whether friendship or money matters more. 

Tomodachi Game will be adapted into a TV drama and two live-action film adaptations this year. ​
