The staff of the first season will return to work on the second season, except for Eri Sekido, who will be replaced by Yuya Hatano as the character modeling director. Staff (Shakugan no Shana, Shokugeki no Soma).
Based on Rensuke Oshikiri's manga of the same name, this "90s arcade romantic comedy" starts in the year 1991, during the 2D fighting game boom. The series follows a chronic gamer named Haruo, who is abysmally inept in academics and sports. He meets his match at his usual shadey arcade, and it's his rich classmate, Akira.
