Aniplex's Shizuka Kurosaki revealed that she heard a lot of questions coming from players about how all the anime projects will be connected. She states that the projects have their own teams working on its independently and that they will have their own take on Chaldea and the Singularity. She states that there's no need to "watch the TV series before the films." Take note, the Babylonia anime will come out first before the two-part Camelot films.
CloverWorks' Yuichi Fukushima brought up in the interview is that the appeal of the TV anime is the consistent character designs as they are all designed by a single person, rather than a team of illustrators like in the original game. The TV anime's director Toshifumi Akai (DARLING in the FRANXX) is an animator who focuses on character animation and the Fukushima stated that fans should look forward to how the animation brings the characters to life.
