The official Digimon Adventure: anime reboot website posted the latest trailer for the new anime along with the show's cast.
It is confirmed that the voice actors of all main Digimon will reprise their roles for the upcoming anime. Only Yuka Tokumitsu will not reprise her role as Tailmon in said anime. She will be replaced by Mie Sonozaki in said role.
The new cast members for the Chosen Children/DigiDestined are: Yuko Sanpei (Boruto) as Taichi Yagami, Daisuke Namikawa (Hunter x Hunter, Engine Sentai Go-Onger) as Yamato Ishida, Ryoko Shiraishi (Tekken, Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger) as Sora Takenouchi, Yumiko Kobayashi (Excel Saga) as Koshiro Izumi, Marika Kono (Akiba's Trip: The Animation) as Mimi Tachikawa, Takeshi Kusao (Dragon Ball Z, Mahou Sentai Magiranger) as Joe Kido, Megumi Han (Hunter x Hunter, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger) as Takeru Takaishi, and Misaki Watada (Battle Spirits Double Drive) as Hikari Yagami.

The series will have an all new story featuring Taichi Yagami, a 5th grade elementary school student and his partner Digimon, Agumon. The story stars in Tokyo when Taichi is preparing for his weekend summer camping trip when a large-scale network malfunction occurs. Taichi's mom and his younger sister, Hikari get stuck on a train that won't stop moving, and Taichi heads to Shibuya in order to help them. However, on his way there, he encounters a strange phenomenon and sweeps him up into the Digimon World along with other DigiDestined.
Toei Animation will once again animate the series with Masato Mitsuka (Digimon Xros Wars) serving as the series director. Atsuhiro Tomioka (One Piece) will supervise the scripts, with Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru returning to design the characters. Akihiro Asanuma (Digimon Savers) will serve as chief animation director, Ryouka Kinoshita (Little Witch Academia) as art director, and Toshiki Amada (Fire Force) as the one in-charge of art setting. Serving as producers are Matsuki Hanae, Naoko Sagawa, and Hiroyuki Sakurada.
Digimon Adventure: is set for an April 5th release in Japan, replacing GeGeGe no Kitaro on Fuji TV's 9am Sunday block. Lastly, the series will also get a new trading card game, which will launch in spring.
