Toei Animation will once again animate the series with Masato Mitsuka (Digimon Xros Wars) serving as the series director. Atsuhiro Tomioka (One Piece) will supervise the scripts, with Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru returning to design the characters. Akihiro Asanuma (Digimon Savers) will serve as chief animation director, Ryouka Kinoshita (Little Witch Academia) as art director, and Toshiki Amada (Fire Force) as the one in-charge of art setting. Serving as producers are Matsuki Hanae, Naoko Sagawa, and Hiroyuki Sakurada.
Digimon Adventure: is set for an April 5th release in Japan, replacing GeGeGe no Kitaro on Fuji TV's 9am Sunday block. Lastly, the series will also get a new trading card game, which will launch in spring.
