According to a recent report by Collider, it seems that the upcoming 2017 Power Rangers film will actually feature new heroes! Aside from that, more info about the upcoming film was also revealed.
First is the film's official title, which is Saban's Power Rangers. Second is that as it turns out, the film's original script had some rewrites thanks to director Dean Israelite and Saban. Because of this, we got new names for the five Rangers.
To put it simply, we have new Rangers who are likely piloting Zords similar to the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Zords. According to the same report, apparently, the classic MMPR suits will make appearance in the film, but they are unsure on what part of the film it will appear.
Finally, the film's budget, which is reported to be in the $35 million range, which low to compared to your standard Hollywood blockbuster film.
The 2017 Power Rangers film is set for a January 13, 2017 release.

- Pink Ranger - Priya Patel (played by Naomi Scott)
- Blue Ranger - Brian Olson (played by RJ Cyler)
