More information about the next Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS was unveiled at the 12th issue of this year's Weekly Shonen Jump.
Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS will feature characters who will use state of the art technology to create a virtual space for them to host VR duels.
The show's main protagonist, Yusaku Fujiki transforms from his school uniform when he enters VR space for duels. He also gets a different hair color in this space, and rides a surf board while dueling. Yusaku's ace monster is the Decode Talker, a creature that weilds a giant sword. Lastly, the same issue also revealed that Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V is now approaching its climax.
Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS will feature the theme of "Let's take one step forward and try it!", and will premiere in spring 2017.
