It was announced by the voice actor Kazuhiko Kishino's agency that the actor has passed away last February 22nd. He was 86.
Kishino passed away due to acute heart failure, with his relatives holding a private vigil and funeral service, with no plans for a public service.
Kishino is best known to most anime fans as Kinnikuman's Mayumi Kinniku, Code Geass' Genbu Kururugi, Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact!'s Dr. Hell, and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory's Ivan Pasarov.
For tokusatsu fans, he played a lot of monster of week characters, most notably in the following shows: Dengeki Sentai Changeman, Choujuu Sentai Liveman, Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman, Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger, and Kamen Rider BLACK RX. Some of his notable tokusatsu roles include: Special Rescue Police Winspector's Madocks super computer, Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger's Golem foot soldiers, and Special Police Dekaranger's Supreme Commander Horusian Numa-O.
