Talent agency 81 Produce announced that prolific voice actor Toshihiko Seki has tested positive for COVID-19.
The actor started to have a fever last July 31st. He then went to the hospital the following day to take the test and his result came positive yesterday, August 4th. He is currently at the hospital and his condition is now stable. His agency stated that it is currently working on contact tracing to try to find the source of his infection, but as of this writing, it is unknown on how he got the virus.
Seki is best known to most fans as Kamen Rider Den-O's Momotaros, Saiyuki's Genjo Sanzo, Naruto's Iruka Umino, Kill la Kill's Senketsu, Ranma ½'s Mousse, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing's Duo Maxwell, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED's Rau Le Creuset, and in recent years as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Muzan Kibutsuji.
