It was revealed by voice actor Mitsuaki Madono that fellow voice actor Kiyoyuki Yanada has passed away. He was 57 years old.
Yanada is best known for his role as Takenori Akagi in Slam Dunk, Megatron in Transformers: Armada, Andromon in Digimon Adventure, Jotaro Kujo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, Richter Belmont in the Castlevania series, and Mike Haggar in various Capcom fighting games.
For tokusatsu fans, he is best known for his role as El of the Water in Kamen Rider Agito, Boss Tau Zant in Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger, Spider Undead in Kamen Rider Blade, and Yogostein & Yogoshimacritein in Engine Sentai Go-Onger. From all of us here, thank you for the memories.
