Talent agency AX-ON announced that one of their talents, Hiroya Ishimaru will retire by the end of March next year.
He is best known to most fans as Koji Kabuto in Mazinger Z and Ultraman Taro. He is also the official Japanese dub voice actor for Jackie Chan and played him in more than 90 works, which includes the Kung Fu Panda franchise, Police Story franchise, and the Rush Hour Trilogy. This also applies to characters who are inspired by the actor, which includes Tekken's Lei Wulong and Juuken Sentai Gekiranger's Sharkie Chan.
Some of his other notable roles include: Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime in Transformers: The Headmasters, Kozuki Oden in One Piece, Edward "Edge" Geraldine in Final Fantasy IV, and Dracula in Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.
