It was reported that actor Masashi Ishibashi passed away last December 19th. He was 85 years old.
The veteran actor passed away due to heart failure at a hospital in Mitaka, Tokyo. A private funeral and ceremony will be held for close relatives.
For tokusatsu fans, he is best known for portraying multiple head villains in the Super Sentai Series. The actor played JAKQ Dengekitai's Iron Claw, the second actor who played Battle Fever J's Commander Hedder, Kagaku Sentai Dynaman's General Kar, and Kousoku Sentai Turboranger's Bouma Doctor Lehda. Outside of tokusatsu, he is best known for his roles in the long running Japanese historical drama Mito Komon and Edo Investigation Network.
