Veteran Suit Actor Seiji Takaiwa Leaves JAE

Veteran suit Seiji Takaiwa announced on his official Twitter account that he has left Japan Action Enterprise (JAE) after 35 years of working on said company. 

Even though he left JAE, he will still continue working as a freelancer. Under JAE, he worked in a lot of Toei tokusatsu productions, most notably with the Kamen Rider franchise. Since Kamen Rider Agito, he is the main Kamen Rider suit actor, causing fans to call him Mr. Kamen Rider. The only time he didn't play a Kamen Rider was in Kamen Rider Hibiki in which at the time, he returned to Super Sentai to play MagiRed. After Kamen Rider Zi-O, he retired as the main Kamen Rider suit actor with Kamen Rider Horobi from Kamen Rider Zero-One as his last major Kamen Rider role. 

Outside of Kamen Rider, he played a lot of Super Sentai heroes, most notably: Dragon Ranger, Ninja Red, MegaBlue, GingaRed, GoRed, TimeRed, and as mentioned earlier, MagiRed. He also played Blue Beet, B-Fighter Yanma, and B-Fighter Genji for the Metal Hero franchise. He also played non-suit actor roles, most notably as Gyro in Kamen Rider Ghost and Julio Rivera/B-Fighter Genji in B-Fighter Kabuto.
