Amazon has opened pre-orders for the Ultraseven X's North American DVD release.
Ultraseven X is the 21st entry of the Ultra Series, and is an adult oriented revival of the classic Ultraseven series. This is also the first series in the franchise released in widescreen, HD format. This release is surprising as Ultra Galaxy: Mega Monster Battle never received a Blu-ray release in Japan, but got one in North America. Ultraseven X only had a DVD release in Japan.
Awoken from a fevered dream, a young man can barely recognize himself. A mysterious woman hands him a spectacles-shaped item, and she says hold the key to tremendous power and tells him it is his duty to save the world. Before asking any more, he and the woman are torn apart by a violent explosion. Soon he is contacted by a secret organization named DEUS. He is told he is Agent Jin and that his job is to rid this world of vicious alien invaders.
Ultraseven X's North American DVD release cost US$25.99 and is also set for a March 1, 2022 release.
