Tsuburaya Productions announced the Blu-ray release of the Ultraman USA anime film, also known internationally as Ultraman: The Adventure Begins.
The film was a co-production between Tsuburaya Productions and Hanna-Barbera Productions and was first released back in October 12, 1987. The film introduced the Ultra Force, a trio of Ultramen composed of Ultraman Scott, Ultraman Chuck, and Ultrawoman Beth as they fight monsters from the planet Sorkin.
The upcoming Blu-ray release will include both the English and Japanese dub of the film and is remaster of the original 35mm film negatives. The release will also include a digital image gallery, and footage from the Ultraman Kids intermission as seen in the Ultraman Festival event. Ultraman USA is set for a September 26th release in Japan.
