For the past few weeks, Avex is uploading YouTube versions of V6's various music videos and this week, they posted the music video of "TAKE ME HIGHER" the opening theme of the Ultraman Tiga TV series.
Originally released in September 16, 1996, this song served as V6's 4th single and even reached #1 at the Oricon Weekly Ranking Charts for the September 30, 1996 week and became a Platinum Record. V6 member Hiroshi Nagano played Daigo Madoka/Ultraman Tiga in said series. The reason why this upload is important is that V6's management, Johnny's and Associates is behind the times when it comes to posting official material online as they want fans to buy the CDs and DVDs featuring their talents. That said, the YouTube version is shorter compared to the full version of the song.
Aside from "TAKE ME HIGHER", other V6 music videos that were used as theme songs in anime and in drama that are now available on YouTube via Avex's official YouTube page include: "CHANGE THE WORLD" from Inuyasha and "Feel your breeze" from Gokusen.
