Actor Yusuke Kirishima, who played the role of Ultraman Nexus' primary human host, Jun Himeya, revealed in a recent tweet that he just learned that the Ultraman Nexus TV series was cancelled, 18 years since the show's cancellation back in June 25, 2005.

To those unaware, Ultraman Nexus was cancelled due to low ratings and instead of the intended 50-episode run, the series was reduced to only 37 episodes. Said cancellation was so sudden that no one in the show knew that it was coming.
