Tsuburaya announced the release details for the upcoming Ultraman Geed comic book spin-off, Another Gene.
Taking place in the world of Ultraman Geed, the spin-off is illustrated by Gurihiru (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Superman Smashes the Klan), and will feature what looks like another of Ultraman Belial's genetic clones using his own Geed Riser, and that Kei Fukuide, one of the primary antagonist of the Ultraman Geed TV series, as well as Gai Kurenai/Ultraman Orb will be involved in some capacity.
Said spin-off will be released in July, and is available exclusively via Tsuburaya's own streaming platform, Tsuburaya Imagination. In addition, a prequel light novel based on the Ultraman Geed series will also be available in said platform on April 4th, and will be released in three parts. Each part will be released every second Friday of each month.
Lastly, to go with said releases, actor Tatsuomi Hamada, who plays Riku Asakura/Ultraman Geed will release a column called "Tatsuomi Hamada's New Ultra EYE!" on Tsuburaya Imagination, in which he will talk with writer Junichiro Ashiki (Ultra Galaxy Fight series), who is in-charge in writing said Ultraman comics. Said column will be released on March 25th.
