It was reported that actress Shion Nakamaru has passed away. She was 38 years old.
The cause of her death was due to an illness that she's been fighting for five years, and has passed away while she was asleep last July 11th. She would be celebrating her 39th birthday on July 22nd.
Nakamaru is best known to most fans as Riko Saida/Dark Faust in Ultraman Nexus, and since then has appeared in multiple Ultra Series shows, most notably as Commander Harlan in Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey, Saki in Ultraseven X, and Takeru's mother in Ultraman Saga. She also appeared as Wind Wave DJ Motoko Saeki in Kamen Rider W. From all of us here, thank you for the memories.
