Premium Bandai posted the official images of the Ultimate Article Kamen Rider New 1 from the Kamen Rider series.
This special statue was released to commemorate Kamen Rider's 50th anniversary and it is based on Kamen Rider 1's current suit seen in the later part of the original Kamen Rider series and his later appearances. This statue stands 40cm tall and accurately reproduces the original suit and its texture, especially with the mask, the transformation belt, and materials use to replicate it. This release will include a voice gimmick, which was not included in the original release. More on improvements from the original release, the mask was also updated to better resemble the one seen in Kamen Rider 1's later appearances.
In addition, the item features a light and sound gimmick in its base. Switching it to ON-1 will play the transformation sound and will light up the eyes, and switching it to ON-2 will cause the light on Kamen Rider's belt, the Typhoon to spin and the instrumental version of "Rider Action" will play. Lastly, thanks to its extra parts, you can change the pose of this figure, from its iconic transformation pose to its classic action pose!
The item also comes with the Tachibana Racing Club stickers that you can stick to the pedestal. This Premium Bandai web exclusive item cost 30,800 yen and is set for a March 2023 release.
