Marvel Comics posted the trailer for the 1st issue of the upcoming The Trials of Ultraman comic book series. The trailer gives us a look at the comic book's art, as well as see Ultraman fight more monsters.
Taking place after the conclusion of The Rise of Ultraman, the world was saved, but also, forever changed. Now follows the consequences as much of the populace regard their defenders with suspicion. Enemies hide in plain sight, and even those closest to Shin Hayata don't necessarily trust the Giant of Light. But at last, a long-thought-lost comrade has mysteriously returned! The Rise is over. The training wheels are off, and the stakes have never been higher. The Trials of Ultraman begin here!
In The Rise of Ultraman, the book's creative team established a new universe built from the concepts and characters of the original TV series, while giving it a new spin. In The Trials of Ultraman, we will get to explore this new universe, and the consequences of decisions made in Rise, and the possibilities and the tensions of this new global community. Now that the introductions are over, the team stated that they'll be diving into the real meat of their Ultraman saga.
